This catalogue accompanied the first museum exhibition (in 1979, at Kunstmuseum Luzern) of the work of the artist and scholar John Stezaker, and deals with his activities in the period from 1973 to 1979.

amous film images which were then transformed into other visual stories. He subsequently ceased for a while to exhibit his work, and this now rare catalogue is a truly precious record of his first decade of activity. In later years, Stezaker taught at England’s most prestigious art schools (St. Martins School of Art and the Goldsmith College of Art) and authored numerous books, but never ceased making art. He returned to exhibiting his work in 2000, primarily in the United States.
